More about me, from me:)
This is the place I’m supposed to share my fantastic bio, work history, awards and achievements, and all of the things. While I have all of that (and am happy to share it if you want it), this is the place I share who I really am.
I realize most marketers (including myself) would tell me to neutralize the content below so that I don’t offend. But I am committed to authenticity, and I can’t be authentic without sharing the real me.
Some of what I share may make you uncomfortable. That’s okay. I’d encourage you to lean into the uncomfortable. After all, comfortably uncomfortable is where real change happens.
Then & Now….
I am so grateful for how my life has changed. Then, I….
Boldly lied. Now, I boldly stand on the truth.
Struggled with fear and control. Now, I stand in strength and influence.
Numbed the uncomfortable. Now, I courageously face the hard.
Tried to please others. Now, I have an audience of One.
Was captive to my thoughts, feelings, and choices. Now, I live in freedom and grace.
Used my gift of performing to pretend to be someone I wasn’t. Now, I perform to make audiences laugh, maybe shed a tear or two, and learn something that will help them do life better.
How did this happen? For me, the answer is simple. In 2006, I began to understand what it meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Him, I am growing everyday to be the best version of the me He created me to be.
Am I perfect? Nope. Do I try to do the next right thing? Absolutely!
Don’t worry, I won’t shove Jesus down your throat. Hopefully, I’ll simply live in a way that shows His transforming power.
